Race Morning Schedule
- 6:00 AM – 6:45 AM: Arrival, parking, check-in, and gathering
- 7:00 AM: Village Run 5K begins
- Post-Race: Finish-line celebration, awards, and Kaiser Permanente Community Health Fair

The race begins in The Glade between Kaiser Buildings A and B.
Participants will begin in staggered waves: Runners, Joggers, Walkers, and Young Families.
With chip timing, your official time begins when you cross the start line.

Where does my registration fee go?
Village Run 5K is sponsored by Kaiser Permanente and other community partners committed to activating health across Solano County. Event proceeds support the mission of GivJoi, expanding access and opportunity for youth runners.
Is this a timed race?
Yes. All Villager entries include chip timing and official results.
Can I walk, jog, or wheel?
Absolutely. Village Run is about participation and purpose, not pace. You don’t need to be fast. You just need to show up.
Who is this event for?
Village Run 5K is designed for runners, walkers, joggers, wheelers, families, youth participants, community members, and professionals. If you’re asking if it’s for you — it is.
What is GivJoi?
GivJoi Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on expanding access and opportunity for youth runners through programs, mentorship, equipment, and community initiatives.
Is my registration tax-deductible?
Registration fees are not tax-deductible, as they are event participation fees. Additional donations made directly to GivJoi may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
What if I can’t attend after registering?
Registrations are non-refundable, but you may transfer to a Remote Villager option before race week.
What is a Remote Villager?
Remote Villagers participate from anywhere. You can submit your results and still be part of the Village Run experience.
How many participants are allowed?
Village Run 5K is intentionally limited to 500 participants. Once all spots are filled, registration closes.
